sex and the city

Hi people, it’s NikkiSimone here bringing you look three of my Fall 2016 lookbook. If you missed looks one and two, you can find them here and here. Fall, in Chicago, has been pretty mild so far so I was able to show off the gams a bit. Each one of the looks in this lookbook series can be paired with tights or leggings to add a bit of warmth. All off the details of this look will be listed at the end of this post.
Look 3:  Muted Colors
This look is so chill and can easily be dressed up or down. The color combination of the dress and bomber gives me a bit of Yeezy with an extra punch from the rust booties. I think this would also look great with some nude thigh high boots and a dad hat. So “Instagrammable.”

For The Love of Bombers

Hey all, it’s Nikki Simone here. I know its been a while, but no worries, I’m back. I’ve been feeling a little uninspired lately. Winter, my least favorite season, has been notorious for causing this “sickness.” In the midst of becoming “well” again I came across a few images that gave a little life. I always watch Sex and the City when I’m feeling blah, and Carrie never disappoints.

Carrie wore this beauty in the first SATC movie.

This 3d floral bomber jacket though….I know when the movie came out this jacket was recreated by a few brands, but I’m bringing it back. I’m a rebel. I do what what I want. I also know bomber jackets made from unconventional fabrics are all the rage so…..I’ve decided to do a bomber jacket series! I’ll be sewing, buying, and styling different types of bombers for spring. Yaaay! *Happy Dance* It’s the little things that make me the happiest.

I’ll, most definitely, start with the 3d floral. The rest will be a suprise.

Thanks for reading, and sharing in my excitement. Stayed tuned. These looks are going to be the bomb…..(get it? I crack myself up.)

Until next time, Nikki Simone.
